During the times of natural-clamity like: floods/earthquakes/cyclones/tornados/forest-fires human-beings feel shocked, helpless, shatered, distressed and don't know how to survive after loosing their loved-ones' lives!
This is the time they look for help from their other fellow-human-beings ( no matter what religion, race, country they belong ! ) who are fortunate enough to have not experienced such natural-clamity.
When few blessings ( like helping other unfortunate-human-beings who are sufferings due to worst-floods in the history of Pakistan due to which millions of people are still homeless and need food, medicines, and shelter since July 2010 ) come your way, kindly do not drive them away by not giving donations and through thanklessness.
Please help those needy flood-effected millions of people of Pakistan and earn God's blessings in this life and life hereafter!! You may donate through Embassy of Pakistan in your country or through any reliable Charity Organisation
Is Flood or Hurricane or Earthquake etc. the Wrath of God?
In fact those who believe in Almighty Lord would say: "Yes". However, there were two things in this world which softened the Wrath of God and prevented its descent upon mankind. One has been taken away from you, hold the other steadfastly. The one which has been taken away from men ( mankind ) is the person of the Holy Prophets ( i.e., Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad ).
And, the one which is still left with mankind and which they must hold steadfastly is repentance and atonement for sins. Because the Almighty Lord at one place in the Holy Books ( i.e., Torah, Zaboor, Bible and Qura'an ) said: "The Lord is not going to punish mankind so long as one of the Holy Prophet (A.S.) is amidst them". And at another place in the same book He reveals that, "The Lord is not going to punish mankind so long as they repent and atone for their sins!"
I have quoted above verses so that mankind should realise that the clamity like: Flood or Hurricane or Earthquake or Forest-Fires etc. can happen in any part of this world. We should repent and atone for our sins, and do some charity to help those unfortunate persons ( men, women and children ) who are sufferring due to floods in a poor country like Pakistan. Thus, by doing charity the Wrath of God can be prevented to happen to descent upon their country/nation.
If one understands the Majesty of the Lord then he/she will not attach any importance of the universe and its marvels.
I wonder at the man/woman who sees people dying around him/her and yet has forgotten his/her end ( i.e., Death )!
